About the County Attorney
David Laudner was appointed County Attorney on September 30, 2021.
Mr. Laudner graduated from Buena Vista University in 2004 and the University of Iowa - College of Law in 2007. He began his career in private practice with the Laird Law Firm in Mason City where his practice areas consisted primarily of criminal defense and civil litigation. After serving as the Assistant Palo Alto County Attorney for several years, he was appointed Chickasaw County Attorney effective September 30, 2021.
