General Election Absentee Ballots Begin to Be Mailed
The Chickasaw County Auditor's Office begins mailing absentee ballots to voters who have submitted a valid absentee ballot request form for the November 3, 2026, General Election.

Voter Pre-Registration Deadline- 2026 General Election

Voter Pre-Registration Deadline

The deadlime to pre-register to vote for the General Election is 5:00 pm. This applies to registration in person (including registration at driver's license stations or agencies) or by mail. Voters may register online until 11:59p.m.

Exceptions: Mailed registration forms postmarked on or before 10/19/2026 are considered on time even if they are received after 5 p.m. today.

After today, a person may register to vote at the auditor's office and vote an absentee ballot. The process is the same as for registerin gto vote on election day.

Auditors office will be open until 5 p.m.

Public Testing of Voting Equipment – General Election
The Chickasaw County Auditor's Office will conduct public testing of voting equipment to verify that all voting systems are functioning properly and accurately recording votes prior to the November 3, 2026, General Election. The public is welcome to attend.
