Full Time Dispatcher/Jailer


The Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Office is currently taking applications and accepting resumes for a full-time position of Dispatcher/Jailer.

The Full-time position consists of 80 hours every pay period (every two weeks). 12-hour shifts, with every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. The current shift we are looking to fill is the 6 P.M. to 6 A.M. shift.

Certified dispatchers currently employed with a Law Enforcement Agency will receive 10 days of vacation upon completion of the probation period.

Wage Scale Starting July 1, 2022, is as follows:

Starting wage - $18.44

End of probation - $19.51

After 1 year - $21.65


Final applicants must take a psychological test and pass a background check.
