The Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Office is currently taking applications and accepting resumes for a full-time position of Dispatcher/Jailer.
The Full-time position consists of 80 hours every pay period (every two weeks). 12-hour shifts, with every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. The current shift we are looking to fill is the 3 P.M. to 3 A.M. shift.
Certified dispatchers currently employed with a Law Enforcement Agency will receive 80 hours of vacation upon completion of the probation period. Final applicants must take a psychological test and pass a background check.
Wage Scale is as follows starting July 1, 2024:
Starting wage - $21.86
End of probation - $23.05
After 1 year - $25.39
Complete 5 years - $26.89
