Environmental Health Specialist
HELP WANTED
Chickasaw County is seeking a full/part time Environmental Health Specialist. Duties shall include but are not limited to issuing well permits, inspecting well construction, inspecting well plugging and rehabilitation, and water testing, tattoo, pool, and pumper truck inspections. Additionally, the holder of this position shall participate in the Iowa Grants to Counties program and shall be required to draft and maintain county ordinances in accordance to Iowa Code. A Bachelor’s degree and/or three years’ experience is preferred. Must possess computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Applications) and have excellent communication skills.
