Job Opening – Summer Help
The Chickasaw County Secondary Roads Department is accepting applications for summer help. Job duties will include assisting with maintenance and construction activities approximately May 26 to August 21, 2026. $18/hr, 40 hours/week. Applicants must be 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license. Pre-employment drug test, negative result required. Application and job description can be picked up in the Chickasaw County Engineer’s Office (8 E. Prospect St., New Hampton, IA 50659 (County Courthouse, 2nd Floor) or online at chickasawcounty.iowa.gov. Application deadline May 1, 2026.
