County Wide Flooding

Significant rains in the early morning hours of August 18th, 2025 have caused major flooding throughout Chickasaw County and the surrounding area. Reports show 6+ inches with more rainfall expected throughout the day. Road crews are out placing warning signs/traffic control devices and will begin repairs when water levels go down. Please do not drive through flooded roadways. If there is an emergency call 911. To report flooded locations, please call the County Engineer's Office at 641-394-2321.
