Environmental Health Specialist Job Opening

Chickasaw County is seeking a full time Environmental Health Specialist. Duties shall include but are not limited to issuing well permits, inspecting well construction, inspecting well plugging and rehabilitation, water testing, tattoo, pool, and pumper truck inspections. Additionally, the holder of this position shall participate in the Iowa Grants to Counties program and shall be required to draft and maintain county ordinances in accordance with Iowa Code. A Bachelor’s degree and/or three years’ experience is preferred. Must possess computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Applications) and have excellent communication skills.
