New Ambulance

Chickasaw County EMS, a Department of Chickasaw County Iowa, is seeking to purchase a new ambulance. Below and in the attached document you will find the parameters that we request all bids fall within. Interested parties should submit a bid via email to auditor@chickasawcounty.iowa.gov or PO Box 311 New Hampton Iowa 50659, no later than 9:00 am on March 16th, 2026 . Chickasaw County reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted. Customer will supply a Ram 5500 Regular Cab 4x4 chassis Model year 2026 or newer to outfit the Type 1 ambulance
Customer will supply the Stryker Power-Load and Power-Pro XT Cot (module must be compatible and outfitted to accept this system)
Bids shall include a trade in allowance for 2023 type 3 ambulance.

Bid shall include removal of Stryker Power-Load and Power-Pro XT Cot from unit being traded in and installation into new unit. Please note that Chickasaw County EMS intends to continue using this ambulance until the new ambulance is finalized and delivered so additional miles as well as regular wear and tear are expected.
Please include a proposed purchase agreement (draft form is acceptable) with bid documents stating down payment (if required), payment terms and timeframe for delivery.
